The Aggie Forensic & Investigative Sciences Organization (AFISO) is student-run and open to undergraduates and graduates of Texas A&M University of all majors. The organization was created in January 2009, shortly after the establishment of the Department of Entomology Forensic & Investigative Sciences Program in 2008.

Our mission is to provide members with opportunities to broaden their understanding of forensic science across all its disciplines and to create connections with those in the industry. We are an academic organization that promotes professional development through educational activities, guest speakers, and field trips. We are also a social organization that fosters community among members through team-building activities and social events.
